Randolph-Macon College recognizes the complexity of the world that we live in and values a diverse and respectful community that promotes student learning. The Office of Student life supports the college’s commitment to embracing differences through providing opportunities and services that assist students in learning about social and cultural differences.
Educational Programming/Training
The Office of Student Life (OSL) provides a variety of educational programs to the entire campus related to various cultural and social justice oriented topics, to include Mosaic Month, Black History Month, Women’s History Month and LGBTQ Education Week. The OSL staff also provides training and workshops on a variety of diversity and inclusion topics by request.
Advocacy and Supportive Services
Various advocacy and supportive services for students in underserved social or cultural populations on campus are provided by the OSL as well, to include the R-MC Diversity Council, one on one consultations with staff, the Pathway to Excellence Programming, the Women of Color Discussion Group and the Safe Zone Allies Program.
