Randolph-Macon College has a unique Commuter Life Program housed in the Office of
Student Life and centered on the Commuter Student Association which works with the
Student Government Association to assist commuters with their unique needs and experiences.
Commuter life is enhanced by social and educational programs designed to strengthen
this vital population. The Commuter Student Association works as a liaison between
commuter students and College administrators.
Quick Tips on Being a Commuter at R-MC:
Find a carpool in order to save on gas
Think about staying for events later in the day rather than just going home
Get active with campus life by joining an organization or club
Find a job on campus to fill the time gaps in between classes
Enjoy the atmosphere of the commuter lounge
Take advantage of all of the opportunities available to you at Randolph-Macon College,
such as the Brock Center
Remember: Being active allows you to meet different people and build a strong network!
