The Brock Commons is the Center of Student Life at Randolph-Macon College. Through
its boards, committees, and student employment, the Brock Commons offers experience
in citizenship and educates students in leadership, social responsibility, and values.
In all its processes, the Brock Commons encourages self-directed activity, giving
maximum opportunity for self-realization and for growth in individual social competency
and group effectiveness. The goal of all the departments and services housed in
the Brock Commons is the development of the whole student.
Construction of The Brock Commons is made possible in part by a $5 million gift
from Joan and Macon F. Brock Jr. ’64, and by the generous support from numerous
alumni and friends of the college. Additional funds are being sought and naming
opportunities are still available. Contact Myra Legg (firstname.lastname@example.org)
