Our Special Programs provide diverse opportunities and help build intellect and character both in and out of the classroom that will change your life. Our global reach provides you with the opportunity to become immersed in another culture by studying abroad or investigate a particular field through an internship during our month-long January-Term program. Or spend a whole semester abroad for academic credit. You can also conduct groundbreaking research and have the opportunity to present your projects at the national and international levels through our Schapiro Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program. And right from the start in your First Year Experience, you’ll begin to understand how interrelated all disciplines of study are through a year-long series of courses team-taught by professors paired from different disciplines such environmental studies and political science, physics and music or science and philosophy.
