To promote the many successes of our Randolph-Macon students, the R-MC Marketing and Communications Office distributes hometown news releases to their local newspapers.

First, what is a hometown news release?

A hometown news release is an announcement sent to your local newspaper. Press releases often are distributed for students who:

• earn a place on the R-MC Dean’s List
• receive awards or special distinctions
• graduate from Randolph-Macon

Second, what do YOU have to do?

1. Go to https://secure.rmc.edu/hometown/
2. Either you OR your student can log in using your student’s R-MC e-mail address and password
3. Fill out the form completely (and update it any time)
4. We’ll take it from there!
