Borrowing Privileges
Borrowing privileges are extended to Randolph-Macon College (R-MC) students, faculty, and staff. Retired R-MC faculty and staff, R-MC alumni in Hanover and adjacent counties, Hanover County teachers, and Governor School students may apply for a card free of charge. A parent or guardian must accompany the Governor's School student on their first visit.
In addition, any adult resident of Hanover County, or an adjacent county, may purchase a library card at a cost of $25 for the first year and $10 per year thereafter. A current driver's license or photo ID must be presented at the Circulation Desk.
For further information concerning the library's public use policy, please refer to our Public Use Fact Sheet.
ID Cards
A current library card (or student/faculty ID) is required for every circulation transaction.

McGraw-Page Library circulates overdue notices five days a week. Students and faculty will receive notices through their email accounts. Community members receive notices by traditional postal service unless they provide an email address when they register for a library card. Notices are a courtesy and failure to receive one does not constitute the waiving of any incurred fines.
Any item that is not returned by Spring Commencement is listed as lost and a replacement charge is automatically assessed. Fines are not added to this replacement cost. The table below lists the charge for each type of material. Donated items will not be accepted in lieu of the replacement charge, which covers processing as well as item costs.
