Scholarships Attract and Support Qualified Students
In recognition of the important legacy of permanently ensuring an education for deserving students, R-MC holds a scholarship dinner to honor those who have established endowed scholarships. This annual event is designed to extend the scholarship legacy beyond its initiating gift to include the opportunity for donors and student recipients to meet one another, to exchange experiences, to share wisdom and a mutual appreciation for Randolph-Macon. Often, these special relationships continue past the annual scholarship dinners and long after graduation.
Additionally, scholarship donors are updated annually with a report detailing the corpus gift amount and the market value of the scholarship fund, the award amount, the major, class year, name and hometown of the recipient/s. All endowed scholarships are listed with other permanently endowed funds in the college catalog. All scholarship gift agreements are permanently held by the college, providing the Office of Financial Aid with the criteria from which to select and award endowed scholarships.
To respond to the annual scholarship dinner invitation please contact Claudia Brookman, Director of Research and Donor Relations at cbrookman@rmc.edu.

| Mr. Clements and Dana Peles ’06 from Dinwiddie, VA, a recipient of the Lillie P. and John H. Clements Scholarship at the April 12, 2006 scholarship dinner. |
Mr. John H. Clements a member of the Class of 1952 is proud of the education he received at Randolph-Macon. His continued involvement led to his eventual service as Chairman of Randolph-Macon’s Board of Trustees and to the establishment of the Lillie P. and John H. Clements Scholarship in 2000. This important scholarship provides financial support to four qualified students from his Southside Virginia community: the counties of Dinwiddie, Sussex, Prince George, Chesterfield, and Greensville and the cities of Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Petersburg and Emporia.
Meet a scholarship recipient or two or three!
Hundreds of students receive financial support from endowed scholarship awards each year.
