ResearchDefinitions of research vary among disciplines. All departments and major and minor programs should formulate definitions appropriate to their fields and designate the courses that engage students in significant research as fulfilling the Experiential requirement.
The Committee on the Curriculum has compiled a list of all Research Courses. Each satisfies the Experiential cross-area requirement of the general education requirement.
