Robert Emory Blackwell

President Robert Emory Blackwell (1902-1938)

BlackwellAt the age of 14, Robert Emory Blackwell entered Randoph-Macon College as a member of the first student body in Ashland. With the exception on one year of study in Europe, Blackwell spent 70 years at Randolph-Macon College as a student and teacher. He served as the college's President until his death in 1938.
