Student Employment for Supervisors
Its that time of the year again for Student Employment Updates. Below you will find information on updating current positions, creating new positions and budget requests. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Financial Aid Office.
Updating Current Positions
If you need to update a position, please complete the Student Employment Request Form. Most updates do not require approval, however if you are making an update to a position's pay rate, an approval by the Student Employment Committee is required. All updates need to be submitted by April 26th in order to be considered at the annual Student Employment Committee Metting. If no updates are needed, please email the Student Employment Coordinator (jberg@rmc.edu) so that we may carry the information forward to the upcoming school year.
Creating New Positions
If you wish to create a new position for your department, please complete a Student Employment Request Form. You must provide justification as to why the position is needed and how the position will be funded. All new position requests are reviewed by the Student Employment Commitee. New position requests must be submitted by April 26th to be considered by the Student Employment committee.
Budget Requests
If your department would like to request additional money under the College Funded Work STudy program, you will need to complete a budget propsal. A budget proposal must include justiification as to why the additional funding is needed and how it will be used. All budget requests are thorougly reviewed by the Student Employment Committee. Budget requests must be submitted no later than April 26th to be considered at the Student Employment Committee meeting. All budget requests must be submitted by email or in writing to the Student Employment Coordinator (jberg@rmc.edu) in the Financial Aid Office.
