In addition to the above-mentioned buildings, R-MC owns seventeen additional houses on or adjacent to the campus. Eight are used for residences for students. Five are are rented to faculty or staff. Two are
vacant and not usable. They range in age from twenty-five to ninety years.All have wood frame construction. Ten have brick veneer exteriors, the remaining have wood siding. Three have metal roofs, the remaining haveshingles. All are heated with oil-fired boilers or furnaces using either radiators or forced air. One has central air conditioning. The total gross area of the houses used for student residences is 18,058 square feet. Thetotal gross area of the other four houses is 12,994 square feet.
