Accommodations There are several hotels in the Ashland area. Please make your reservations early.

General Parking is available in the following lots:

- Leachman (grass lot next to train station)
- 500 N. Center Street
- All freshmen village (Andrews, Bennett, Jones, Garland, Starr)
- All Faculty / Staff spaces behind Counseling Center and Delta Zeta
- North & South Center Street on – street parking
- Calhoun Street (behind Copley)
- Henry Street (south end from Starr to Bennett only)
Parking for Persons with Disabilities is available on Caroline Street and a parking pass will be required. Please contact Charlotte Parrish to request a parking pass. Requests must be made by Friday, May 10, 2013.
Tickets will only be required in the event of RAIN. Each graduate will receive SIX rain tickets. Tickets may be picked up in the College Bookstore on Friday, May 31, 2013. If a graduate has more than six guests for Commencement, all guests WITHOUT tickets can watch Commencement on television in Blackwell Auditorium.
Rain Plan In the event of rain on Friday afternoon, the Baccalaureate Reception will be moved inside Crenshaw Gymnasium.
In the event of a light rain Saturday morning, Graduates and Sponsors will line up on the Jordan Wheat Lambert Historic Campus. Should a light rain fall, Commencement will be held outside on the Frank E. Brown Fountain Plaza. However, should there be a threat of heavy rain or the threat of an electrical storm, the Commencement Exercises will be moved indoors into the Brock Center.
Sponsor A sponsor is any person of the graduate’s choosing. Most often the role of Sponsor is carried out by a parent. However, grandparents, siblings, faculty or staff members may serve as sponsors as well.
Processional Graduating seniors and their sponsors must be present at 9:00 a.m. SHARP on June 1 on the Jordan Wheat Lambert Historic Campus (if inclement weather, Crenshaw Gymnasium) to assemble in the proper order for the graduation ceremony. Seniors must have a cap and gown; the tassel should hang on the right. Sponsors will carry the hoods. The procession will move from the Jordan Wheat Lambert Historic Campus to the Frank E. Brown Fountain Plaza (if inclement weather, commencement will be held in the Brock Center).
Lunch will be served in Crenshaw Gymnasium immediately following Commencement. Lunch will be served until 1:30 p.m. All graduates and their families are invited to attend. There is no cost for the luncheon, however, reservations are required.
