Commuter Student Association

Purpose:

It shall be the purpose of this organization to recognize and advocate for all off campus students who commute to the college regularly. The Commuter Student Association is committed to helping off-campus students become more involved and connected with the greater Randolph-Macon community.

Meetings:

The Commuter Student Association will meet weekly in the Spring of 2009.  Currently we are not having meetings during J-term, but please feel free to stop by the Dean of Students Office or contact any of our officers to assist you with any concerns you may have.

Current Projects:

Commuter Student Needs Assessment
Working with the Director of Student Development, we have conducted a Commuter Student Needs Assessment that will help us to identify those services that Commuter Students need, and we will be advocating for those services.

Commuter Lounge
Working with the Director of Student Development and the Brown Campus Center Manager, we will be making continuous improvements to the Commuter Lounge.  Thanks to the generosity of Allison O'Brien, we now have a microwave, and we are currently purchasing a television.
