Randolph-Macon College and the Theta Chi Fraternity have experienced an outpouring of support after an early morning fire at the fraternity’s house on September 26, 2012. The college is working closely with the 14 students affected by the fire to address their housing and other immediate needs.
The College is grateful to members of the Randolph-Macon Community who have expressed a desire in helping defray the cost of replacement books and other supplies for the displaced students. If you are interested, please log onto www.rmc.edu/givenow and be sure to note Theta Chi Relief as the designation.
On behalf of the Randolph-Macon Community, we would like to thank everyone for the incredible outpouring of support. The Campus Care Team is happy to announce that thanks to the many generous donations of basic toiletries, and other necessities, we have been able to meet the majority of the immediate needs of the residents of Theta Chi. We are incredibly humbled by the dedication and support offered to our students by their peers, the faculty, staff, and friends of the College. Please note that we are no longer accepting physical donations of clothing, furniture, etc. at this time.
If you have questions about a specific donation or idea, please contact the Office of Student Life at 804-752-7318 or e-mail studentlife@rmc.edu.
