The Randolph-Macon College women's soccer team has won twelve Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) titles and participated in the NCAA Division III tournament three times in the mid-1990s. Jim Woods was named head coach in 2002 after serving as an assistant coach with the team for six years. The 2007 Women’s Soccer Team will rely heavily on their eight seniors to guide them to a successful season. The four senior captains will have their influence felt all over the field. Rachel Armstrong and Katie McKown will anchor the defense while Kendall Kirtley will look to control the center midfield as Lacy Phelps will provide scoring punch from her forward position. Multiple returning starters as well as several talented freshmen will provide depth as the Yellow Jackets compete against a challenging schedule.
