The Randolph-Macon College women's lacrosse team has been a powerhouse in recent years, as the Yellow Jackets won the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) tournament and advanced to the NCAA Division III playoffs in both 2000 and 2002. In 2005, under new head coach Dan Kanach, R-MC advanced to the ODAC tournament championship game and won nine of the last twelve games of the season. The squad has advanced to the ODAC tournament semifinals each of the past three years. The Yellow Jackets are poised for success in 2009 with three returning all-conference selections.
