Yellow Jackets Beat Hornets 97-87; Hiltunen Nets 1,000th Career Point

Amanda Hiltunen scored 29 points, including her 1,000^th career tally, to fuel R-MC past Lynchburg 97-87 on Monday. The senior guard shot 7-for-11 from the field, 15-for-15 from the foul line, and dished 10 assists in the Yellow Jackets’ first conference win of the season. R-MC junior Molly Ariail tallied 23 points, while Lynchburg’s Kylie Lucas led the Hornets with 21.
