Men’s Basketball Visits JR Tucker High School
ASHLAND,
VA -- Randolph-Macon College Men's Basketball Head Coach Mike Rhoades
and his Yellow Jacket squad took a break from its practice and ODAC
schedule on Tuesday and visited JR Tucker High School in Richmond to
put on a clinic for the school’s special education basketball
team.
Rhoades and his players spent the day with these special athletes, providing
them with instruction and working on their basketball skills. Rhoades
believes his players benefited just as much as the students did.
“It was absolutely a positive experience sharing our basketball
knowledge and friendship with JR Tucker’s team,” said Rhoades.
“Our guys went away from our clinic with new friends, a special
admiration and fun memories. It is neat to see young men step up and
share their time and personalities with these students.”
