Hot Hitting Yellow Jackets Tops Catholic 17-7
COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Randolph-Macon baseball team pounded out 16 hits on its way to a 17-7 victory over the Cardinals of Catholic University Sunday afternoon on the campus of the University of Maryland.
Six different players recorded at least two hits in the win for Randolph-Macon (9-4-1), led by Scott Zymet and J.C. Conway who had three hits on the day. Greg Meleski went 2-5 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored for R-MC. Devin O'Meara went four innings, allowing four runs on eight hits and striking out one.
