The Randolph-Macon College men's tennis team consistently produces quality players who perform well in both the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and in non-conference competition. In the fall of 2004, Wayne Vaughan was named the new head coach of both the R-MC men's and women's tennis teams. The Yellow Jackets play their home matches at the all-weather Edwin W. Bowen tennis complex, a 10-court facility that ranks among the best in the ODAC.
