R-MC senior All-American forward Justin Wansley was named the ODAC Player of the Week for January 2nd, 2006, based on his performance in two holiday tournaments. Wansley was named to the all-tournament teams for both Randolph-Macon events -- the Hal Nunnally December Classic December 18th and 19th and the Rees Jewelers Christmas Classic December 29th and 30th -- as the Yellow Jackets won three of four games. In a win over #17 Lincoln December 18th, he had 22 points, including 7-of-8 free throws, and a game-high 14 rebounds -- all defensive. December 19th in the championship game victory against #20 St. John Fisher, Wansley had game-highs of 19 points and 11 rebounds, plus three assists. Ten of his rebounds came at the defensive end of the court. In a tough loss against Fisk December 29th, he scored 19 points and pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds -- nine of those defensive. December 30th in a win over Kenyon, Wansley scored a game-high 17 points, including 7-of-9 foul shots, and also had nine rebounds and a game-high three assists. In four games over the holidays, he averaged 19.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals.

R-MC junior Justin Wansley was named the 2005 Old Dominion Athletic Conference men's basketball Player of the Year on Friday, February 18. Also, senior Justin Moyer and sophomore Philip Hawley were both named all-ODAC.
R-MC sophomore Philip Hawley was named the ODAC men's basketball Player of the Week on February 7.
JANUARY 2005
The R-MC men's basketball team put on a record-breaking performance in a 140-123 win at home over Emory & Henry January 29.
R-MC junior Justin Wansley scored his 1,000th career point in a game at Virginia Wesleyan January 15.
R-MC juniors Justin Wansley and Megan Silva were both named the ODAC Players of the Week on January 3.
DECEMBER 2004

R-MC junior basketball players Justin Wansley and Megan Silva have both been named preseason All-Americans by the D3hoops.com website.
R-MC lost a well-respected coach and friend in the passing away of Hal Nunnally on Wednesday, September 10, 2004.
The R-MC men's basketball team has been picked first in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference preseason poll.
MARCH 2004
Another great season came to an end for the R-MC men's basketball team on Saturday, March 6, 2004, as the Yellow Jackets were defeated 75-68 on the road at Maryville College (TN) in a second-round NCAA Division III tournament game. The 2003-04 squad finished 23-5 overall and advanced to the NCAAs for the third straight season.

Randolph-Macon swept the Old Dominion Athletic Conference men's basketball post-season awards, which were presented on Friday, February 21st. Senior forward Jared Mills was named the Player of the Year, freshman forward Justin Wansley was named the Freshman of the Year, and head coach Mike Rhoades was named the Coach of the Year for the third straight season. Also, junior forward Kurt Bergmann was named second-team all-conference, while senior guard Tim Smith was an Honorable Mention selection for the third consecutive year. The Randolph-Macon men's basketball team was in Chile for seven games from August 7 to 19. The trip was a success for the Yellow Jackets, as they took third place in the Encestando Una Sonrisa Tournament, the highest-ever finish by a U.S. team.
