| 35 Ways to Re-Connect with R-MC |
- Visit the College for a tour – start at the new Welcome Center on the corner of College and Henry Streets! Walking tours are available through Admissions twice daily on weekdays, and on Saturdays during the academic year.
- Try R-MC's new virtual tour and view the college's beautiful campus grounds and learn of its history without taking a step. See the Virtual Tour for more information!
- Put an R-MC decal on your car. Visit R-MC's Bookstore at http://www.rmc.edu/offices/bookstore.aspx.
- Wear your R-MC sweatshirt or hat! These items can also be found at http://www.rmc.edu/offices/bookstore.aspx.
- Invite President Lindgren or a member of the College faculty to speak at your local Club or professional organization. For more information about potential R-MC speakers, contact Anne Marie Lauranzon at alauranz@rmc.edu.
- Call your local paper and tell them you want to see the R-MC sports scores! (Tell them to work with Sports Information Director, Chris Kilcoyne at christopherkilcoyne@rmc.edu).
- Include R-MC in your personal bio when being interviewed or introduced.
- Talk about R-MC - Peaks of Excellence (study abroad, student research, internships, career preparation) or R-MC athletics are great topics.
- Give to the Annual Fund at www.rmc.edu/givenow! Every gift makes a difference.
- Be a Class Agent – (contact Erin McInturf at emcintur@rmc.edu). Put R-MC in your will (contact Herb Bailey at hbailey@rmc.edu).
- Buy a book for the library.

- Suggest that the Human Resources Department of your company interview graduating R-MC students for open positions (contact Cathy Rollman at crollman@rmc.edu).
- Give an Alumni “Fee Waiver Card” to a friend/neighbor with a graduating senior. (Need one? Contact admissions@rmc.edu.)
- Look for local public relations opportunities and alert the College marketing office. (For example, do you know of a current R-MC student from your area who is newsworthy? Has a local internship been particularly outstanding?)
- Volunteer to call prospective students in the fall or spring (contact Admissions at admissions@rmc.edu).
- Attend or host a party for accepted students (contact admissions@rmc.edu).
- Offer internships (January) for R-MC students at your company (contact George Lowry at glowry@rmc.edu).
- Offer academic (non-paid) internships for R-MC students at your company. Note: we offer these in January, fall, spring and summer terms (contact George Lowry at glowry@rmc.edu).
- Be a mentor, volunteer to help R-MC students who are interested in your career field (contact Cathy Rollman at crollman@rmc.edu).
- Nominate an alumnus/a or friend of R-MC for one of the Society of Alumni awards. Visit R-MC's Nominations page.
- Get an R-MC license plate! Click here for details!
- Connect with alumni you know who haven’t returned to R-MC in a long time – bring them up to date about R-MC events. Use R-MC’s Online Community to search for classmates.
- Make a contribution to your favorite R-MC sport, department, or project. Contribute here!
- Serve on your fraternity’s/sorority’s housing corporation or alumni board (contact the Director of Student Activities & Greek Life, James McGhee at jamesmcghee@rmc.edu).
- Read the Alumni Magazine and share it with a friend when finished. Please note: feature stories are now online. See Feature Stories here!
- Let us know what you are doing. Send in a Class Note via R-MC’s Online Community here.
- Subscribe to the Yellow Jacket. Write a letter to the editor at Yellow Jacket Editor.
- Search the Online Community for fellow alumni who live in your area – drop them a note to introduce yourself at Online Community. Use “Find Member” from the left menu bar to conduct your searches.
- Update your mailing address, email address, job information, birth of children, etc. by visiting the Online Community.
- Be sure your local high school is well informed about R-MC. Offer to meet with counselors, and/or partner with admissions to bring in new students.
- Encourage friends and classmates to attend R-MC’s Homecoming and their class reunions. Click here for reunion information.
- Reminisce by loading the R-MC Alumni Screensaver on your computer.
- Send an R-MC postcard to a fellow classmate or friend from our R-MC Postcards' web page.
