New Orleans J-Term 2006

29 college students, 3 professors, 14 days, a scenic tour bus and a cozy church came together to produce remarkable accomplishments and uplifted spirits in New Orleans, Louisiana. Irreplaceable bonds were formed whether with a homeowner or simply between eachother. This service learning class proved to be more than anything we could ever imagine and is an experience that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. The aftermath of Hurricane Katrina became more than a news story as we experienced the reality of the unforgettable effects this devastating storm left in its trails.
