In our center, you will find:
27 Dell computer work stations, equipped with Tandberg headsets that allow students to listen to and record language activities.
A lounge area serves as a gathering place for film viewings, group activities, club meetings and study sessions.
Our resource center library contains a wide array of language learning materials, including dictionaries, videos, DVDs, CD-Roms, and text books.
The operations desk is a media production area, equipped with satellite receivers, a state-of-the-art Sony DVD recorder, scanners and digitizing and multimedia Macintosh computers.
The Educational Resource Area in the back of the center is a learning space and gathering place for student teachers and education students. |

The Butler Multimedia Learning Center is a multi-faceted learning area in Haley Hall open to language students and faculty as well as students and faculty in English, film studies, sociology, First Year Experience and other areas of the currciulum.
The purpose of the Butler Multimedia Learning Center is to use technology to facilitate all learning, including language learning and cultural understanding. Click on the links at the top of this page to connect to on-line resources for each language.
The Learning Center student staff and director are always available to assist faculty and students with technology troubleshooting, questions and projects including, but not limited to, video production, digital imaging, scanning, PowerPoint presentations, and web site development. |
