Each of the following conditions must be met in order to receive academic credit for an Internship.
- You must have completed 48 semester hours of college work at the time of participation in an internship.
- You must have at least a 2.25 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at the time of application for an internship and during the term in which the internship is performed. (Please note: some academic departments may have higher minimum GPAs.)
- You must have approval from the chair of the academic department sponsoring the internship.
- You may file your application only during the term immediately preceding the term in which you are planning your internship.
- Your application must be received by the Registrar's Office no later than the deadlines below. Application forms are available at the Registrar's Office or from Career Services, located in Thomas Branch Hall, Room 127. Please enter through the Henry Street entrance.
- As an academic intern you may not receive a salary or wages as compensation for your work as an intern.
- You must be enrolled concurrently in an internship course to receive academic credit for the internship.

ACADEMIC CREDIT WILL NOT BE AWARDED RETROACTIVELY FOR INTERNSHIPS.
