Where are they now?
We are always very proud of our alumni's accomplishments and contributions to society. Here are some of our alumni and their recent accomplishments (listed according to year of graduation):
Heath is an executive at Brownlee Construction in Knoxville, TN.
Sarah received her Ph.D. from Duke University and is an instructor and Head Girls Basketball Coach at The Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ.
Daryl is working on his Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins University.
Nicki is a patent attorney at the firm of Roberts, Mlotkowski, Safran, and Cole P.C.
Ryan will attend law school in the fall '06.
Caleb obtained his Ph. D. from Penn State in May 2010 and is currently working for the Department of Defense at Ft. Belvoir.
Ryan Woodcock ('05)
Andrew is a dentist with the US Navyy and is stationed at Pearl Harbor. He is married to Sam Hopkins, '06.
Christeen is a medical student in Uniformed Armed Services medical school.
Kristie is currently in the D.Pharm. program at VCU.
Kirsten is in the pediatric nursing program at the Medical College of Virginia.
Erynn is in medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Lisa graduated from medical school in May 2008, completed her internship in Cleveland, OH and is currently in Chicago working on her 3rd year of general surgical residency. She also recently married her husband Richard, a classmate from medical school.
Tom is attending medical school at the Medical College of Virginia.
Melanie graduated from medical school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) in May 2007. She has recently begin a new career path in Integrative Psychiatry specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry.

Matt currently works for Wyeth.
Randy is currently working for a biotech company in the San Francisco area.
Chrystal Eller ('00)
Chrissy graduated from Hahnemann medical school in Philadelphia and is currently doing her residency at Wake Forest.
Robert Heath ('00)
Kenya attends Pharmacy school at the Medical College of Virginia.
Rebecca attends vet school at Virginia Tech.
Emily recieved a nursing degree from John's Hopkins and is currently working as an Emergency Room RN in Baltimore, MD.
Chappie graduate with a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Delaware.
Scott graduate from the Pharmacy Degree Program at Virginia Commonwealth University. He manages 2 Rite-Aid stores in Chesapeake, VA.
Cindy has obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry from UNC Chapel Hill, and now works at the Navel Research Lab.
Tom graduated from the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine, with an M.D., in May 2003. He then completed an Internship in Pediatrics at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) in June 2004. Currently he is completing his Residency in Pediatrics at NMCP, and was recently named Chief Resident for the academic year 2005-2006. Additionally, he has two beautiful girls, Hannah (5/27/02) and Elizabeth (1/20/05).
Heidi works for PPD Pharmco in Richmond, VA.
Diana is an orthodontist, and is currently building a practice in Massaponax, VA.
Kim graduated from Iowa State University in 2000 with a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry.
Lori is currently a commissioned officer in the US Public Health Service practicing hospital based dentistry at the WW Hastings Indian Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Ben is currently a Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Dean of the Graduate School at Missouri Western State College.
Graduates before 1990:
Don continues on active duty military service as a Navy Dental Corps officer. Currently the Endodontics Department Head for 12th Dental Company, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC. He and wife Amy, Preschool Director of First UMC Havelock, enjoy the privilege of serving America’s finest young men and women in uniform and their families. They look forward to retiring to eastern Virginia in a couple years. Anyone considering a medical career in the military is free to contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Peter is the director of Ohio University's Forensic Chemistry Program and Director of the Center for Intelligent Chemical Instrumentation. He also works extensively with the National Institutes of Health.
