The minor in Black Studies presents an interdisciplinary approach
to Black life. This approach examines Africans and those of African
descent in the Americas, the Caribbean, and other areas of the world.
The analysis of the interaction between those of African descent
and these other cultures includes an examination of interracial,

this approach include sociology, psychology, history, political
science, literature, music, art, theater, religion, and philosophy.
