Seminar in Black Studies
Course Description
This seminar is the capstone course for the Black studies minor.
It will provide students with the opportunity to analyze, in greater
depth, issues pertinent to Black studies. Students are to draw on
the ideas and themes in courses previously taken in the minor and
to connect these to some features of their major discipline. A major
research paper on a topic or theme not covered in their course work
should be one of the products of this seminar.
