Role of Parents at Randolph-Macon
- What kinds of involvement are open to parents?
- How may I volunteer?
Q. What kinds of involvement are open to parents?
A. Randolph-Macon seeks, through the Parents Association, to offer every parent the opportunity to be well-informed abut the College and to enjoy a deeper involvement in the student's exciting collegiate experience. The Parents Association Board of Directors, composed of parents of currently-enrolled students, meets several times each year on campus to plan special programs such as Family Weekend, and to work with faculty, students, and administrators in enhancing and maintaining different aspects of the College’s mission. The Parents Association Board of Directors works to improve communication between parents and the College.
Q. How may I volunteer?
A. If you are interested in volunteering on the Parents Association Board of Directors, please contact Laura Doherty, Secretary to the Parents Association at (804) 752-7229 or e-mail her at lauradoherty@rmc.edu
