WHAT IS THE GENDER RELATIONS COUNCIL?
Formerly known as the Women's Advisory Council, the Gender Relations Council (GRC) is a group of men and women students on campus that promote cross-gender understanding and assists the Gender Resource Center in educating the Randolph-Macon College community on gender-related issues. The Gender Relations Council continues to also support the Gender Resource Center in it's continued efforts to enhance opportunities for women and encouraging women's leadership on campus.
GRC EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

Gender Relations Council Events Include the Following:
- Healthy Relationships Education Programs ( Including Valentine's Day Healthy Relationships Project)
- Male-Female Discussion Sessions
- Self-Esteem, Body Image, Eating Disorders Education (Including "Leave your bags at the door"--Stress Education in the Fall and Eating Disorders Awareness Week in Spring.)
- Women's History Month Celebrations (March)
- STD/HIV/ Sexual Responsibility Education (Including Annual Sex-A-Polooza Sexual Responsibility Week in April)
- Safe Spring Break Education
- Annual Women's Leadership Luncheon (Includes the presentation of the Annual BJ Seymour Alumni Award, Catalyst Award For Male Allies of Cross-Gender Understanding and Women of Excellence Student Award.)
