The Student Health Center does NOT give out excused notes for missed classes.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

If a student is seen in the health center and has a fever of 100 degrees or greater, has an obvious injury needing medical attention, or is actively vomiting in the health center, the SHC, at the request of the student, can provide a "verification" note indicating the date and time the student was seen for treatment.  Due to strict HIPAA laws, the SHC will not violate a student's confidentiality by disclosing the reason for the visit.

Students are advised to discuss any absences with their instructors.
