R-MC Physical Plant: Mission Statement

The Physical Plant Department is a service organization dedicated to support the College’s Mission and its various constituents in a proactive manner.

We provide a wide range of services to efficiently operate, maintain, and protect our facilities, grounds, and infrastructure, in such a way as to create and sustain a clean, safe, functional and aesthetic environment conducive to quality learning, living and working, while preserving Randolph-Macon College’s physical heritage for future generations.

Our team of dedicated, skilled, and helpful employees strive daily to provide timely and quality services at the lowest possible cost.

The Physical Plant staff provide the services that the campus needs to function on a daily basis. In short, the people who keep things running behind the scenes.
