R-MC MIXED RECYCLING

R-MC collects and recycles a variety of materials through the Mixed Recycling program. Look for this sign and these blue bins to show you where to recycle the following materials.

 

Plastic: Any plastic marked with a number 1 or 2

Glass: Any clean glass containers (jars, bottles, etc.). No broken glass, please.

Metal: Any clean aluminum or steel can. Certain household items like clean aluminum foil or foil pans may also be recycled.

Paper: All paper products except the following: food wrappers, waxed or coated papers, paper towels or tissues

Cardboard: Any corrugated, cardboard, or paperboard materials.


General Recycling Guidelines

• Do not put trash in the recycling bins.
• No pizza boxes, fast food wrappers, bags, etc. If it has grease or food residue, put it in the trash.
• If you have a cardboard box to recycle, please break it down and place it behind the bin.
