As part of R-MC’s ongoing commitment to reduce the effects of our operation on the environment, we are proud to provide a wide range of recycling services to the R-MC community. Following is a list of the main R-MC recycling programs. Click each category for more information or here for a list of receptacle locations.
R-MC’s Committee on Campus Recycling (CCR) is responsible for planning and managing these programs, as well as guiding student involvement in recycling related events. - Mixed Recycling: collecting plastic, glass, paper, cardboard and metal.
- Bulk Paper Recycling: collecting larger quantities of paper and cardboard from offices, classrooms and other R-MC facilities.
- E-waste: collecting unwanted electronics and computer equipment from residence halls.
- Printer Cartridges: collecting used cartridges from desktop printers.
- Toner & Ink Cartridges: Collecting used ink and toner cartridges from photocopiers and large format printers.
