The Sitecore CMS employed at R-MC allows content editors to duplicate existing web pages. This is useful when you want to create numerous pages based on the same basic information or layout.
To duplicate existing web content, first login to the CMS and navigate to your content folder.

Next, select the page you wish to duplicate by left-clicking it once in the files pane of the editor.
By right-clicking on the file you just selected, you will see a pop-up menu (a.k.a., context menu) that appears like the example below.

Use the option for “Duplicate” within that context menu to create a second copy of the original file. As a first step, however, you will be asked to provide a name for the duplicate file – the default filename appears below (“Copy of” original filename)

Since we need for our pages to have meaningful filenames, please provide a filename for the duplicate page by typing it into the “User Prompt” as seen below.

As with Dreamweaver, we need to be maintain meaningful filenames. This will assist you in identifying web pages at a glance and will be especially important for large web sites. Please also avoid the use of special, non-alphanumeric characters in filenames.
Once you have supplied a new page for the web page, click “OK” on the User Prompt. The new web page will then be visible in the files pane of the CMS.

Note that this duplicate web page will contain all the content of the original. So make sure to update all content before publishing this duplicate page!
From this point, the process for publishing a duplicated web page is the same as publishing content on any other web page. (Save, publish and approve the document to the web.)
