Finding Subject Dictionaries and Thesauri in the Library
One way to locate subject-based
reference materials is to browse the reference collection in the
call number area(s) assigned to your topic.
All of the reference books in McGraw-Page Library are listed in MaconCat. You can locate reference items in the catalog using a subject or akeyword search, or by title if you know it.
For a subject search, type in a very broad subject discipline or topic as your major heading (i.e. french language, german language, psychology, music, biology, philosophy) and look for the subheadings dictionaries or synonyms and antonyms.
