New Medical Insurance and Open Enrollment Information for 2010 for Faculty and Staff
We are very pleased to announce that Randolph-Macon College is a founding member of the newly-formed Healthcare Consortium of the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia (CICV). After extensive research and study, our Consortium of 12 private colleges has formed a partnership with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield to provide healthcare coverage. Anthem brings a host of medical plan options to the Consortium, and each college has carefully selected the plan, or plans, that will best serve their individual workforce. Plan specifics, pricing and enrollment instructions will be communicated in a succession of weekly updates that will follow this announcement. In the meantime, it is important for everyone to know that an Open Enrollment process will be conducted during the next few months, and our new medical benefits will become effective on January 1, 2010.
