"Hey there, I'm Kaitlyn and I am a junior from a small town outside Richmond. I
am majoring in Psychology and minoring in English-Writing. In addition
to my job as a writing tutor, I work at the Higgins Academic Center as a mentor
and at the Marketing and Communications Center, writing articles for
the website. I consider creative writing and philosophical papers my specialty,
and I love fantasy and narratives! If you wanna swing by the library, I'd be happy
to hang out with you and make writing papers a breeze!"
Hi, my name is David Sullivan. I am a junior here at Macon. I am a Physics
major and plan to minor in Mathematics and Computer Science. I enjoy
sports and play soccer for Randolph-Macon. I enjoy assisting my peers in any way
that I can. Feel free to come visit at the Writing Center and I'll see what I can
do for you.
Hey, my name is Dawson and I am a Junior here at R-MC! I am a Religious Studies
major with a double minor in Art History and Communication
Studies. I love playing soccer, Rugby, and just being active altogether.
I also will always have a special place in my heart for International Students.
I'm very talkative and love meeting new people. Drop by some time and let me know
what I can help you with!
Hi, I'm Lia. I'm a junior at R-MC and am an Arts Management Major
with a minor in Art History. In addition to working in the Writing
Center, I'm involved in Greek Life and I love cooking, good books, and travel. Writing
is one of the most difficult academic skills to master, and nothing beats the satisfaction
of knowing that you're improving or, for me, helping someone improve. So feel free
to come to me with your papers and hopefully give us all a minor boost in morale!
My name is Madeline Monk and I am a junior. I am majoring in History and
English, with a minor in Classics. In my scant,
precious free hours I play the violin and am steadily reading my way through the
literary canon. For me, getting a chance to help other people with their papers
is the finest possible fusion between reading and writing, and I would be delighted
to see you and your papers at the Writing Center.
Hey guys, my name is Mario Jackson and I am currently a sophmore. I am majoring
in Vocal music and minoring in Education with
the hopes of being a music teacher in the future. I enjoy drawing, singing, and
theatre so I always make time for the arts. Also I enjoy writing because it can
be considered another form of art. Writing is an awesome way to express yourself.
So, if you ever need assistance with your writing, it would be my pleasure to assist.
Bonjour, I’m a sophomore named Sarena. I plan on majoring in French and minoring
in English/Writing. When I’m not reading, I’m working on an assortment of
short stories and novels. I also enjoy photography, and I dabble occasionally in
art. Writing is an important skill to have in college, and I want to help people
gain confidence in their writing since that’s what really helped me grow as a person.
So feel free to drop by if you need any help with your papers!
Hi, my name is Samantha. I'm a senior majoring in Music and minoring
in History. In addition to tutoring here at the Writing Center,
I work for the Registrar's Office, sing with the R-MC Concert Choir and Chamber
Singers, and am active in Greek life. I really enjoying writing because its fun
to challenge myself to explore all the different ways to express my ideas. I also
love talking to people and showing them how rewarding writing can be for them too!
So come to a session and I'd love to help you write something awesome!
