Consultation on Integrating IT into Teaching
Faculty sometimes know what they'd like to accomplish, but are uncertain what technologies they will need to get there. The Instructional Technology Director will show faculty how to use pertinent technologies for accomplishing instructional goals. She will discuss technical and pedogogical issues. Teaching the "Tech Component" of Your Course
If your students are required to use special technology program for the course, you may want to give them a 30 ~ 40 minute tutorial or hands-on session on how to use the program. The IT Director will be happy to come to your class and help you with the training. Contact Lily Zhang (zzhang@rmc.edu, or call x3216).
Support of Moodle and other Software
In addition to Moodle, Dreamweaver and MS Powerpoint etc., we provide training on other applications per faculty's requests. Examples include animation and online collaborative writing programs.
Help with Website and Multimedia Development
Our Student Technology Assistants (Tech Buddies) will team up and work closely with faculty to develop web and multimedia projects for teaching and research. See here for a complete list of types of assistance. Contact Lily Zhang (zzhang@rmc.edu, or x3216) for detailed information.
