This office is comprised of four key areas -- Alumni and Annual Giving, Development, Marketing & Communications, and Research and Donor Relations -- that work together to further the mission and strategic goals of the College.

The Advancement Team
Alumni Office :
The Alumni Office connects R-MC alumni to classmates and the college through class reunions, Homecoming, Young Alumni programs, special events, Old Grads/50th Reunions, and the R-MC Online Community. This office also keeps alumni informed of all key college activities and programs. Alumni, parents and friends are encouraged to support the good work of Randolph-Macon through contributions to the R-MC Annual Fund, which is also managed by this department. Annual Giving Office:
The Office of Annual Giving oversees the College’s Annual Fund Campaign. This includes annual solicitations mailed to alumni, phone-a-thon efforts, each class’ reunion gift campaign, the College’s class agent program, oversight of the Parents Fund and management of the College’s leadership gift club, the Presidents Society. Corporate and Foundation Relations:
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations works to strengthen relationships with corporate partners in the Greater Richmond area and beyond. It also works to support and create new partnerships with national, regional, community and family foundations that support higher education and the liberal arts. The Office helps to fund the College’s top priorities as determined by the Strategic Plan and the College’s senior staff. Development Office:
The Development Office oversees the college’s giving programs. Staff members are happy to assist donors who are interested in a range of special gift opportunities. For more information, please contact the Development Office at (804) 752-7218
Within the Development Office are the offices of Annual Giving; Planned Giving; Leadership Giving and Major Gifts. The Office of Annual Giving and the Development Office are located in the Rhodeen House on the Randolph-Macon campus at 304 North Center Street. The fax number for this location is 804.752.4700.
The Yellow Jacket Club, an organization that invites gifts to support the intercollegiate athletic program is a part of the Development department, as are the offices of Stewardship and Donor Relations and Corporate and Foundation Relations.
Marketing & Communications Office:
The Marketing & Communications Office at Randolph-Macon College is responsible for promoting and marketing the college’s image and offerings, designing and maintaining the college’s Web site, working with the media, managing internal and external communications; as well as fostering community relations. Photography, promotional material and college-wide publications are also produced from this office, which also houses the sports information director.

Stewardship & Donor Relations:
The Stewardship and Donor Relations Office supports the efforts of College by directing stewardship for endowed scholarships and other endowed funds including student and faculty prizes, awards, professorships, and programs.
The college recognizes alumni and friends who have established endowed scholarships at the President’s Scholarship Dinner. This event provides an opportunity for the President and scholarship recipients to recognize and celebrate an important connection with those who have provided a legacy of support to the college.
