Famous R-MC Alumni
Faculty can be a tremendous help to students in advising them about majors and career options. Often times students will ask, "What can I do with a given major?" Faculty can help by directing students to information that can answer those questions.
Attend the Majors/Minors Fair. A representative from the Registrar's Office is available to answer questions AND accept major/minor declaration forms!
Attend the Alumni/Career Networking events to talk with alumni who work for organizations or in professions that may match
your interests.
Another resource for exploring majors and career options
can be found in the Center for Personal and Career Development office.
R-MC Major Flyers were
jointly created by the Academic Departments and the Career Services office. Each major flyer outlines common career areas, employers, who hire someone with that major, and strategies (such as experiential learning) designed to optimize academic and career planning.
The Major Flyers often assist students not only in selecting an academic major, but also in thinking about their liberal arts degree in non-traditional ways.
