Parents have the opportunity to play a key role in helping their student be successful in his/her career choices and opportunities. The standard career development model used in the career planning process can be an aid to family members.
Career Development Model
This model is a process. It is dynamic and always in motion throughout our lives. What changes are the options we discover in the learning process. Using the model, Career Center staff created a Four-Year Plan of Career Development for Randolph-Macon students. This plan includes developmentally appropriate activities for each year in school.
