FIRST YEAR PLAN FOR CAREER DEVELOPMENT SUCCESS
Hello, My name is Autumn White. I am a 2008 graduate of R-MC. I am a full-time teacher, and while studying as a part-time graduate student, earned my Masters degree as a Reading Specialist in December, 2011.
During your first year at R-MC make sure to enjoy the new friendships and the many opportunities that R-MC provides. Remember to start your first year on the right path, surrounding yourself with positive people and staying on top of your workload.
Do not become discouraged if you do not know what you want to do when you graduate from R-MC. You have before you as a first-year student an exceptionally strong career preparation program that can give you a competitive advantage to gain access to a career or graduate or professional school.
A one-on one talk with a career counselor is available to you anytime during your four years at Randolph-Macon College. Call 804.752.3103 or email careercenter@rmc.edu to make an appointment.
You'll be glad you did!
