Campus Safety Service Phones

The emergency telephones provide a direct line to the Office of Campus Safety 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.. The caller's location is simultaneously announced into the Campus Safety Dispatch Office and over the radio of all Campus Safety Officers on duty for emergency response.

The Emergency Phones are located at:

• Old Chapel, between Wash-Frank and Old Chapel
• Mary Branch, beside circle drive
• Conrad Dorm, between Conrad and in the back of the Campus Center
• Copley Science, between Science Center and Fox
• Honors House, between the Honors House and Admissions (East Patrick Street)
• Athletic Building, in the laundry room
• Peele Hall, adjacent to the fountain
• N Tennis Courts, between the tennis courts and house
• S Tennis Courts, on the fence beside the walkway
• Campus Safety Office (at the Caroline Street entrance)
• Football Field
• Garland Hall
• Irby Hall
• Jones Hall
• Smith Hall - under construction
• Olin Hall
• Bennett Hall
• Conrad Hall
• Starr Hall
• Mary Branch Hall
• Moreland Hall
• Thomas Branch Hall

In addition to a telephone in each student's room, emergency telephones are located across campus and at the main entrance of each residence hall.

Emergency telephones should be used only when fire, police or medical response is required.

Emergency telephones are housed in highly visible yellow call boxes, and provide one button speed dialing for instant communication with Campus Safety. For information, escort service, parking and other non emergencies dial extension 5412 on campus, or 752-4710 off campus.
