Although there are no guaranteed methods to insure that nothing will ever happen, there are some steps you can take to greatly minimize the risk. Here are a few suggestions:

Do not leave valuables in plain view.Never run in secluded areas alone.Lock your bike through the frame with a high quality locking device.Do not consume alcohol if you are under 21. If you are 21 or older, drink responsibly and never drink and drive.Be aware of your surroundings.
OUT AND ABOUTAlways let someone know where you are going and an estimated time of return.Travel in groups.Make sure your mode of transportation is reliable.Do not give personal information to strangers.Do not accept drinks from people you don't know.
