All academic departments are engaged in the ongoing assessment of student learning outcomes. Annual reports are submitted each year at the end of the fall term. Work in this area has been greatly assisted by a grant from the Teagle Foundation. Departments are encouraged to submit funding requests to support initiatives generated from the assessment of student learning outcomes.
Current Assessment Committee membership is listed below, along with their term and anticipated date of removal from the committee:

Duties:
This Committee advises the Planning and Budget Committee, the Curriculum Committee, and the academic departments on matters of assessment. It consists of three Faculty Members elected by the faculty after nomination by the Executive Committee, two other members appointed by the Planning and Budget Committee (these are to be drawn from the administration and staff of the College) and the Liaison for Assessment. All members serve three-year terms and they are eligible for reappointment or re-election.
