R-MC Upends Sweet Briar 6-3 in ODAC Women’s Tennis Action
ASHLAND, VA – The Randolph-Macon women’s tennis team closed out its ODAC slate of matches on Sunday with a 6-3 victory over visiting Sweet Briar College. R-MC is now 7-6 overall and 5-5 in the league.
The Yellow Jackets were led by Karen-Anne McEwen who captured her match at No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0 and Whitney Robinson who won at No. 4 singles then teamed up with Martha Vlahakis to help the Jackets take No. 2 doubles 8-6.
R-MC will be back in action on Tuesday when it hosts Trinity College for Washington, D.C. at 3:30 p.m.
