Top-Seeded Washington and Lee Knocks off R-MC Women’s Lax in ODAC Semifinals

ASHLAND, VA – Washington and Lee University scored six second half goals to break open a a two goal lead at halftime and go onto an 11-4 victory over Randolph-Macon College in the ODAC Women’s Lacrosse Tournament semifinals.
Randolph-Macon got two goals from Logan Pomeroy and single strikes from Erin Clare Cassidy and Morgan Hutchinson. Lindsay Schabert made 13 saves in the cage for R-MC, which is now 6-10 on the season.
The Yellow Jackets will close out their season in a 4:30 p.m. game against St. Mary’s of Maryland on Tuesday in Ashland.
