R-MC then got a jumper from Hiltunen and a pair of free-throws from Riesbeck to pull within one with 3:33 remaining.
After a Jordan Gohlosn lay up put RC back up by three points, R-MC got two free-throws from Riesbeck to pull within one then a Merkel three pointer put the Yellow Jackets on top for good at 61-59 with 2:44 left in the game.
The Jackets extended its lead when a Nicole Childress three pointer with 1:34 left in the game gave R-MC a five point advantage at 64-59.
RC would cut the R-MC advantage to 65-66 on a Bridge lay up with 42 seconds left, but that is as close as the Maroons would get as Shifflett hit a three pointer on the Jackets next possession to give the Yellow Jackets a 69-65 lead with 24 seconds left, sealing the win.
