Yellow Jackets Extend Winning Streak at Roanoke and Emory and Henry
SALEM, VA – The Randolph-Macon College volleyball team extended its winning streak to four matches with a 3-0 victory over Roanoke College Friday Night and a 3-0 win on Saturday at Emory and Henry.
Against RC, the Yellow Jackets won by scores 30-18, 30-23 and 30-25 to secure its second ODAC win of the season.
R-MC (5-4 / 3-0 ODAC) racked up 43 kills as a team, led individually by sophomore Jill Kubichan and freshman Michelle Lindsey who each had a eight on the night. Senior Sheri Trentadue and sophomore Savanna Love set the pace with 18 and 17 assists, respectively. Senior Michelle Kutcher notched 14 digs defensively while Lindsey added 10 digs to go with her offensive out put.
At Emory and Henry on Saturday, R-MC won by game scores of 30-22, 30-21 and 30-23. April Hines led the team with nine kills while Alix Mcrae, Reana Winton and Lindsey each had six.
